Aero-K^® Is Safe for Facility Personnel
 
Aero-K^® uses a non-toxic aerosol that is not hazardous to the health of personnel.
 
Aero-K^® is so safe, in fact, that it’s approved for ground, air cargo, and passenger air transportation without special packaging.
 
However, the fire-suppression aerosol will reduce visibility. Because of this, the system is placed in manual only mode if personnel are present in the protected area. A programmable delay (normally set to 30 seconds) between detection of a fire and agent dispersal, provides an additional margin of safety to allow staff to leave the area in the event of a fire. In addition, manual overrides provide total control to facility staff.
