OUR DISK PACK AND CARTRIDGE WARRANTY
Peripheral Manufacturing, Inc. warrants to the
original purchaser that all 14-inch disk packs and disk cartridges shall
be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship and will
remain useable with respect to read error characteristics for one (1) year
from date of purchase. Peripherals' disk packs sold as "error free" are
warranted to retail these magnetic characteristics for thirty (30) days
after first installation of the product, subject to all other provisions
stated in this warranty.
Peripherals will replace or repair, at its sole
discretion, any product determined defective under the terms of this
warranty. Claims under this warranty should be notified immediately to
Peripherals, at which time, a Returned Material Authorization number (RMA
No.) will be issued. The suspected faulty product should be then returned,
adequately packed, freight prepaid, and properly identified with the RMA
number within thirty days. Failure to comply with these requirements
invalidates this warranty.
The provisions of this warranty do not apply to normal
wear and tear, misuse, misapplication, or damage due to external causes or
contamination.
The above warranty is in lieu of all other warranties
expressed or implied, and all other liabilities or obligations on the part
of Peripheral Manufacturing for damages, including, but not limited to
consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use or
performance of said disk packs.
