The Eliminator 4000FS is a belt-driven Degausser specifically engineered to erase high-coercivity Hard Disk Drives, Super DLT tape, and DLT IV tape. It automatically erases hard disk drives using the new "Turn-A-Drive" Carrier. These super-high coercivity disk drive and tape formats - 2000 oersteds and increasing - are very difficult to erase. Conventional tape erasers just can't do it.
The Eliminator 4000FS erases hard disks completely and metal particle tape to -80dB (like new) in 12 seconds or less. Security operations can now completely degauss hard disk drives in large volumes. Data centers can save money by erasing and reusing their DLT and Super DLT tape. Program integrity is not sacrificed, because the Eliminator 4000FS provides like-new erasure quality.

This product has factory prerecorded magnetic servo tracks. The media will be unusable, if the servo tracks are bulk erased (degaussed). Products that use factory prerecorded magnetic servo signals should not be degaussed unless destruction of the recording media is desired.
